Math:
In math this week we worked with fractions, fractions, fractions. We learned about how to model fractions and show are work. We also learn how to subtract, multiply, and add fractions.
Writing:
In writing this week we wrote about history and not just any history the history of us, Americans. We wrote about the Boston Massacre, the Battle of Lexington and Concord, James Town, and much more. We tried to capture the minds and hearts of the people in that time period in our writing.
Social Studies/Reading:
This week in social studies and reading we read more about the american revolution. We read these books in lit circles and talked about them all together. Some of the books were, The Fighting Ground, George vs. George, Valley Forge ,The Boston Massacre, The Keeping Room, and many, many more.
School News:
Today we had a special assembly. We had a very funny act called Asia Fantasia. The man that performed and told stories through music. He told great stories such as The Blue Bird and the Pond and The Drummer Boy.
In conclusion this week was a fun and exciting week filled with the power of learning. Thank you for reading!
